The Stolen Necklace

Project type: Game
Year: Spring 2008
Software: Flash, Actionscript, Photoshop and Fireworks
Details: The game takes place in a fantastic world called “Neveria.” Neveria shows similar characteristics to our world in the medieval times: Green and rich forests, stone castles dotted the landscape, small towns with marketplace and tavern... Needless to say, Neveria has also some differences from the real world. Along with the humans; talking animals, dragons and wizards live in harmony in Neveria. The Stolen Necklace is a combination of puzzle/action/adventure game targeted to computer players. The first level is designed as a puzzle in which missing items have to be located by pointing and clicking the mouse on the interface. The aim of the second level is to find differences between 2 pictures by clicking. The third level is another puzzle where items have to be arranged in a particular order. The fourth level bears adventure characteristics where the player is challenged to find their way out of a labyrinth while collecting the diamonds that will help to activate the magical staff in the next level. The final level is pure action where Mexx and the player engage in a simulated fight. The goal of the game is to retrieve the stolen necklace.
